Becoming edumucated

Howdy Neighbors! My name is Matt Long, and this is a general repository for my online things. I'm a graduate research assistant at the Center for Robot-Assisted Search and Rescue at the University of South Florida. I recently completed my Master's Degree in Computer Science. My thesis was on creating a distributed robot architecture for teams of outdoor robots. I'm currently working on my PhD -- still trying to narrow down the topic, but it looks like it will be exploring the intersection of ontologies (from AI), distributed robotics (from the MS) and agent-based systems (such as KAoS). This site contains general news about what I have been doing, as well as a list of publications and my curriculum vita. Enjoy!
